St. Gerards Montessori School, Thornhill Road, Bray, Wicklow

Many children begin their educational career in St. Gerard’s Junior School at age two and a half years – when they enter our Montessori Department. From there, they progress to our Infant classes – typically at age four and a half years.
Our Montessori Directrice is Ms. Louise O’Reilly and our early years’ programme offers an exciting, child-centred, experiential and creative curriculum through which the foundations of learning and positive social interaction are laid.
Each child is an active agent in his or her own learning. But above all, the children are happy, learning is fun and young enquiring minds are nurtured and developed. This ensures that our young pupils have the perfect educational start in their formative years – years which lay the foundation for all future learning and success.
The Montessori school also offers an after-school care programme for the younger pupils in the Junior School who may need to stay on after school while older siblings attend games.
