Primrose Montessori Preschool is a home based preschool based in Celbridge Co. Kildare, which opened its doors in 1995.
Primrose Montessori Preschool is run under the ethos and philosophy of the Maria Montessori Method of Education. In Montessori it is the policy to help and allow the child to reach their full potential, whatever level that may be. Montessori is a unique method of education which looks at the development of the ‘whole’ child, socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually and culturally.
Here at Primrose Montessori Preschool, we place great emphasis on your child’s psychological well-being and self confidence. We focus on activities which meet your child’s developmental needs. We can achieve this by being aware of your child’s ability to concentrate, with spontaneous discipline, and continuous happy work, while always teaching respect and care towards others.
Maria Montessori says “that the child’s mind is like a fertile field in which seeds may be sown to germinate later under the flaming heat of imagination”. This is the ethos of Primrose Montessori Preschool.
We are registered to accept children for a FREE ECCE preschool place under the Government ECCE Scheme.
We are registered and approved by the H.S.E. and Túsla and are inspected annually by the The Early Years Inspectorate, Túsla.
