First Steps Montessori Preschool, Naas GAA, Sallins Road, Naas, Kildare

Established in 2006, First Steps has been providing high quality education and care to children in Naas and the surrounding areas for the past 13 years. We believe that the early years are critical and fundamental to children’s long term well-being. Our team consists of experienced, highly qualified staff, collectively having achieved Masters, BA (First Class Honours), FETAC level 5 and 6 in Childcare, Diplomas in Montessori Education and ongoing doctoral studies in Early Years Education and Inclusion. Two member of our team lecture on degree programmes.We have high levels of staff retention and low adult child ratio here in First Steps. Our curriculum is based on the children’s interests and also is based on the principles of Montessori, Aistear and Siolta.Working in collaboration with parents is of utmost importance to us and we work in collaboration with other stakeholders to support inclusion and also continue to develop strong links to the community.
